Can I Choose Which Subcampaigns Are Available To Donors?
Your options are to offer no subcampaign, one pre-selected subcampaign, or all linked subcampaigns. (You can't limit donors to a partial selection.)
What If I Need To Make Changes To My Campaign Setup After Launching?
We recommend reaching out to your Account Manager! They'll walk you through next steps and make sure your donors' pledge progress is resynced correctly. 🤝🏽

Can I Adjust a Donor's Pledge Amount?
- Like recurring gifts, pledge amounts can't be adjusted directly through the Dashboard.
- However, donors can easily update their own pledge through their Donor Profile. If you'd prefer, we can also update pledge amounts on the backend.
If Donor Profiles Are Merged, Will the Pledge Transfer to the Primary Account?
Yes! Once the merge is complete, donations from the previous account can be applied to the new account's pledge. If you're having trouble, please share the Contribution ID(s) with our Support team.
Can I Consolidate a Donor's Multiple Pledges?
Like Donor Profiles, pledges can't be merged through the Dashboard. Recurring and non-recurring pledges also function a little differently from each other. Here's what we can help with:
- Recurring plans can't be combined, but any existing pledge progress can be transferred to a new non-recurring plan.

Donations from a recurring plan can be transferred to a non-recurring plan, but one-time gifts can't be applied to a recurring plan. You may see this error:
Contributions cannot be attributed to pledges with fulfillment plans.

How Can I See What a Donor's Pledge Fulfillment Type Is?
- Every pledge is set up as either a Subscription (recurring plan) or One-Time (non-recurring plan).
- 📥 To see which type a donor has, select a pledge campaign in your Dashboard and export your list of pledges. You'll find it listed for each pledge under the Fulfillment Type column!
Why Can't I Attribute a Donation to a Donor's Pledge?
There are a couple of reasons this might happen in the Dashboard:
- The donor's name doesn't match.
- Pledges are tied to a specific Donor Profile, so the name on the donation needs to exactly match the name used when the pledge was created.
- If the contribution is linked to a different name or Donor Profile, it can't be attributed to the pledge.
- The donor set up a recurring plan.
- Recurring plans are created with a fixed amount and frequency. Because of this, one-time gifts can't be applied toward the progress of a recurring plan.
- If the donor needs more flexibility, a non-recurring plan might be a better fit for them!
Can I Switch a Donor's Recurring Plan to a Non-Recurring Plan?
- 🚫 Not once it's been created. The pledge fulfillment type is locked in at setup.
- If a donor wants more flexibility, the best path is to help them create a new pledge with the same total amount, then contact our Support team with their Donor ID. We can transfer their donations to the new pledge!
