Logo Best Practices

A well-formatted logo helps your organization look polished wherever donors see it, from the giving experience to acknowledgment letters. Here's what to know before you upload!

File Requirements

  • Maximum File Size: 5 MB (We don't set specific pixel dimension requirements.)
  • Accepted File Types: .png, .jpg, and .jpeg
  • Recommended Aspect Ratio: 1:1 (Square)

Getting the Best Results

For the best and most polished look, we recommend:

  1. Using your logo mark on its own, or
  2. Scaling up your stacked logo so it fills most of the 1:1 canvas

Either way, crop closely around the edges of your logo, leaving as little empty space as possible. Logos with too much surrounding whitespace can look small or "lost" in the giving experience, while a tighter crop helps your logo display at its full size.

Multiple Dashboards

If you operate multiple locations, each with its own Dashboard but sharing the same logo, we suggest including the campus name directly in the logo file. This helps donors clearly see which location they're giving to in the giving experience.

What If My Logo Isn't Square?

That's okay! We generally recommend a 1:1 ratio, but logos with other proportions can still work well.

  • ⬜️ By default, our system automatically fits all logos into a square shape. (If you'd rather have our team manually adjust the width instead, please contact us.)

  • 📲 If your organization uses an external app, we recommend sticking with a 1:1 ratio. These apps don't always support dynamic resizing, so a square logo is the safer choice.
