📲 Dashboard Setup

Accessing the Tap Dashboard

You can easily access your Tap Dashboard at https://tapdash.overflow.co/

Admin Dashboard

🏆 The Admin Dashboard includes full access to settings, the ability to view and export engagement metrics, and permission to add team members. (🔗 Admin Access)

Engagement Metrics at a Glance

  1. Your Tap Dashboard includes a snapshot of engagement:
    • Total Taps (lifetime, today, this week, and this month)
    • Interactive graphs filtered by date range or batch
    • The last 100 Taps to track real-time activity by location
  2. You can also click into any batch to see:
    • Batch-specific metrics
    • Exact timestamps and destination links for each Tap batch

📲 Adding Admins and Viewers

Admin Access

Each organization has one designated Admin account.

  • 👥 If you’d like multiple team members to access the Admin Dashboard, we recommend using a shared email address that everyone can log into. This allows your team to manage your organization’s settings easily from one centralized account!
  • 🔄 If you need to update the Admin account for your organization, our Tap team will need to make that change on the backend.
    • Please have the current Admin reach out to our Support team with their permission, along with the full name and email address of the new Admin.

Viewer Access

  1. To give staff access to your Tap products, click the “Viewers” button at the top of your Dashboard.
  2. You can invite team members by entering their email and assigning them to specific batches, which are groupings of Tap tags by location or purpose (like “Auditorium” or “Lobby”).
  3. Once added, Viewers will get an automated email with login instructions.
    • ⚠️ If the user hasn’t received the email or is having trouble logging in to the Tap Dashboard, please reach out to our Support team. We’re happy to resend the onboarding email to help them reset their login credentials!

📲 Setting Links

Managing Tap Links by Batch

You can update your Tap links at any time! To change where a Tap device directs users:

  1. Click into a batch from the Tap Dashboard.
  2. Select "Update Tap."

  3. Choose between 2 functionalities:
    • 👉🏽 Link Redirection – Send users to any URL (e.g., giving page, connection card). ✽
    • 💬 SMS Texting – Pre-fill a text message with a keyword and phone number. When tapped, the messaging app opens ready to send.
  4. Select "Update Now" to update your Tap batch immediately.

✽ When users connect to a Tap device, their web browser may briefly show an Overflow Tap URL. This happens as it securely connects to your Dashboard to ensure they're directed to the correct page. 🛡️

Link Change History

The History tab shows a log of all link changes and which Admin (Viewer) made each update.

📲 Scheduling Link Updates

Using the Scheduled Update Tool

The Scheduled Update feature lets you automate link changes in advance. This is especially helpful for recurring events or time-specific communications!

  1. Click into a batch from the Tap Dashboard.
