If you have an ongoing, multi-month capital campaign for which donors are committing a certain amount over a period of time, then the Pledge Campaign feature is for you! We built this feature to allow you to create a custom link for a campaign you are running over multiple months and track fulfillment from your Dashboard.
Let's see it in action! The video below shows you the entire process of a Pledge Campaign from generating your unique link, to donors making commitments and fulfilling against it, to managing the campaign in your Dashboard.
For step-by-step instructions of how to set up and administer Pledge Campaigns, read on below.
Let's walk setting up a Pledge Campaign together...
Create a New Pledge Campaign
- Log in to your Overflow account and navigate to the "Campaign" tab on the left. Select "Pledge Campaigns".
- Click the green "Create New Pledge Campaign" button to set up a new campaign.
- Provide a unique name for your campaign, such as "Playground Campaign."
- Upload a cover photo and write a description to explain the campaign's purpose.
- Set a goal amount for the campaign, for example, $300,000.
- Choose whether to set a fixed pledged amount or a campaign duration. You can also choose whether you'd like the pledge to be associated to an existing Campaign and Subcampaign. Note that these will need to be created before you begin setting up your Pledge Campaign. Learn more.
- Click "Generate Link" to create your unique link and download a QR code for the campaign.
Monitor the Campaign
To view the details of the Pledge Campaign and monitor its progress, click back to the Pledge Campaigns table and then click into the campaign you'd like to view.
In the Pledge Campaign detailed view, you'll be able to see things such as the campaign settings, the unique link and QR code, contribution value over time, and top donors. There will also be a progress bar tracking commitments vs. fulfilled amount.
You can also edit the campaign by clicking the green "Edit Pledge Campaign" button.
